Little bit about me
Thomas is well known for his Aquatic paintings, as in both N.Z and Hong Kong he is one of the pioneers of this rare subject. In order for him to capture the spirit of his subject Thomas has devoted great sums of his time in Hong Kong owning a pet store homing thousands of live fishes in aquariums to create an environment filled with inspiration linked to his paintings. In this period of time he has learned the “ways” of each animal with primary interaction of each species in there natural habitat exploring effects of the water, light, and motion.
But as mentioned in the above he has studied with a vast variety of masters, thus Thomas is able to paint a vast amount of other subjects such as, Landscape, Birds, Land animals, Human figures and Abstract. Thomas is also a person that has an open mind to all art and styles, so he also does a lot of sketching and oil painting art as well as traditional Chinese painting.
